| Purpose: | Dialogues in Methods of Education (DIME) is a group of educators who have been meeting twice a year since 1980. Members include teachers at all levels, specialists, administrators, and researchers. Discussions range across the curriculum. The dialogues touch many topics, including hands-on learning, problem solving, collaborative learning, innovations in teaching, making sense of student work, assessment, communication with parents, and multicultural classrooms. DIME members' primary interests are in the "everyday problems" of classroom teachers. Two-day conferences are held in spring and fall. |
